X-Cup Winter kicking off Heroes Esports in 2022!

In 2021 the European Heroes of the Storm scene witnessed the creating of the X-Cup Series, a new tournament series sponsored by a private Heroes of the Storm fan that brought us amazing matches between the best Heroes of the Storm players in Europe! With the X-Cup Fall Playoffs ending, we are happy to announce that a third season of the competition will start in January 2022 as the X-Cup Winter starts with its first qualifier!

 

All of the matches of the X-Cup Winter will of course be broadcasted in English by Khaldor on Twitch, but the competition will also be open to other streamers. Additionally all participating players are allowed to stream their own games to ensure that everyone can enjoy the X-Cup Winter matches according to their own preferences! 

 

Tournament Prizepool:

In total 4000 EUR of prize-money will be played out during the X-Cup Winter! The prize-money will be split between the teams that qualify for the playoffs of the Heroes of the Storm tournament series as follows:
 

  • 1st Place: 1300 Euros
  • 2nd Place: 1000 Euros
  • 3rd Place: 700 Euros
  • 4th Place: 400 Euros
  • 5th & 6th Place: 200 Euros
  • 7th & 8th Place: 100 Euros
